Privacy Policy

We only ask for what we need to give you a quote and take care of your lawn: your name, how to reach you, and where the property is. We don’t sell that information, and we don’t show ads or track you around the internet. The rest of this page spells out the details.

The “Request a Free Quote” form on our contact page is provided by Jobber, the scheduling and invoicing software we run our business on. What you type into it — your name, phone number, email address, the property address, and anything you tell us about the job — goes to Jobber and then to us at Carolina Green.

We use it to get back to you, write up your quote, and, if you become a customer, to schedule and bill your treatments. Jobber stores it on our behalf and handles it under Jobber’s own privacy policy, which is published on Jobber’s website.

The “Customer Portal” link takes you to Jobber’s client hub, where existing customers approve quotes, check appointments, and pay invoices. That portal is run by Jobber on its own website. Anything you enter there, including payment details, is handled by Jobber, not by this website.

When you call, text, or email us, we keep what you send us so we can answer you and look after your property. Email sent to [email protected] is delivered to our business inbox, which is a Gmail account.

The public pages of this website set no cookies of their own and keep nothing on your device. The company that serves the site to you may set one short-lived technical cookie to tell real visitors from automated traffic; it identifies no one and we never read it. There is no analytics tag and no advertising cookie on this site today. If that ever changes, we will update this page to say so.

Jobber’s quote form is loaded from Jobber’s servers and sits inside its own frame on the contact page, so Jobber may use its own cookies to make that form work.

The page addresses that start with “/staff” are a sign-in area for our employees. Signing in there sets a cookie that keeps the employee signed in. It has no part in the pages our customers use.

Like almost every website, ours runs on a hosting company’s servers — in our case DigitalOcean. The server keeps ordinary logs of each visit, such as the internet address the request came from and the page requested, and keeps them for a short time. We use them only to keep the site running and to look into problems.

The map on our Recent Projects page is drawn from map files we keep in our own storage. It does not load from Google or any other map service, and nothing about your visit is sent to a mapping company. Each pin marks a job we have done and the city it was in; some pins carry photographs of the work, and some carry the customer’s review.

The reviews shown on this site are reviews our customers left on Google, on Facebook, or with us directly, and each one says where it was left. We show the reviewer’s first name, their rating, what they wrote, the profile picture they used where there was one, and our reply where we left one. If you left one of those reviews and would rather we not show it here, call or email us and we will take it down.

We share your details only with the companies that help us do the work described above: Jobber for quotes, scheduling, and billing, and the companies that host this website and our email. We do not sell your information, and we do not hand it to anyone for advertising.

You can ask us at any time what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove it. If you have an open quote or account with us we may need to keep the records that go with it, and we will tell you if that is the case. Just call or email and we will take care of it.

If the way we handle information changes — for example, if we add a tool that measures how many people visit the site — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
